Owner & Master Stylist
Bruce Fisher has been cutting hair since the 1960s. When he opened Dunster Street Hair in Harvard Square in 1973, it was written up in Harper's Bazaar as one of the top three salons in the city, and top 100 in the country. He later found himself in London, met Paul Mitchell, and became the go-to stylist for models and photo shoots. Bruce had a lot of celebrity clientele, including members of Aerosmith, The Cars, Betty Davis's daughter, and Beverly Sills. In 1982 he and his wife, Beth, decided to open their first salon. They expanded the shop in 1990 and became a full-service salon with a 30-person staff. Since then, the salon has been written up in First for Women Magazi
